Organized worktop is the key to good care. It is nothing less than a full-time working place with the hospital system, vital signs display and all telephones and your stuff next to your hand. Having all in place and place for all.
The ceiling mount bracket supports the care in many ways. It bears the monitor and hospital the systems with mouse and keyboard. Everything in your eyes. Your focus is always straight at the point of care.
MedArm® is with you the whole shift without paying attention or doing extra maneuvers.
MedArm® organizes the hardware setup. Design of the MedArm® is based on the care personnel’s wishes - a flying worktop next to the bed. Well, we didn’t make it flying, but fixed it to the roof with all cabling and utilities led through the arm. No more trolleys, cords and hoses on the floor.
MedArm® is a convenient ergonomic and sturdy full-scale workstation. It allows the patient to be treated unobstructed with all the equipment wiring coming from the top. And when necessary, like in a resuscitation situation, MedArm® gives way – it lifts completely out of the way giving full clearance immediately to walk underneath. After, in a second, again in the same ergonomic position, standing or sitting.
When the situation is calmer, MedArm® reaches the armchair in the corner of the ICU room. It also carries your personal small stuff. The vital information is visible even on the leg stretching break.
Weightless single hand operation makes it easy to operate. You move your always balanced worktop where you need. MedArm® freezes into a solid base.
In these covid-19 times, intensive care work has proven particularly cumbersome. The staff in the heavy protective equipment makes difficult tasks with lowering number of personnel per patient. Normally ICU turn lasts 12 hours, when the caregiver has to spend his/her time next to the patient, sometimes without a break. Hopefully someone gets you to go to the bathroom and grab a snack for a minute. With MedArm® the whole shift feels more organized.
